What is Touch-a-Truck?
The PS 295 Touch-a-Truck is South Slope’s funnest fundraising event, with lots of trucks and other vehicles your kids can explore; bouncy houses to jump in; art projects; music; great food; and lots more!

Where are the entrances to Touch-a-Truck?
You can enter the event on 19th street, at either the 6th Avenue ticket booth, or the 7th Avenue ticket booth. Advanced ticket holders must pick up their wristbands at one of these entrances. Tickets to Touch-a-Truck and unlimited bounce wristbands will also be available at these entrances on the day of the event.
Will there be food and beverages available at Touch-a-Truck?
Yes! There will be delicious food and drink available for purchase from food trucks (naturally!).
There will also be a NYC Water-on-the-Go station where you can fill up your PS 295 water bottle to stay hydrated!

What happens if it rains?
Touch-a-Truck is rain or shine! Tickets are non-refundable.

PS 295 Touch-a-Truck Tickets
Does everyone in my family need a ticket? Kids, parents, grandparents?
Yes, both kids and adults (of all ages) need a ticket for Touch-a-Truck. Babies under one year, however, are free. Tickets bought the day of the event are $10 each (for both kids and adults), or get discounted tickets online in advance!
Are tickets available online, in advance?
Yes! Get tickets online here and even enjoy a discounted price for buying in advance! Advance ticket sales will end at midnight the night before the event.
Do you take credit cards?
Touch-a-Truck tickets; bouncy house wristbands and tickets; and face painting tickets day-of are cash only. Some food truck vendors may take credit cards. Advance tickets are credit card only.
Are there group discounts?
There are online group discounts - a family pack of four tickets (bought online in advance of the event) is $30. That’s a $10 discount from sales at the door!
Will tickets be available on the day of the event?
Yes, tickets will be available on the day of the event, in person only and with no advance ticket discount. Remember, both kids and adults need tickets! Each ticket is $10 at the door.
Do I need a ticket for my child to jump in the bouncy houses?
Yes, you will need a ticket for each time your child goes into a bouncy house to jump. Bouncy house tickets are $3 the day of the event, or save time and the ticket lines and get an all day bouncy house wristband in advance for only $10! Unlimited bounce wristbands will also be available the day of the event.
I bought tickets online. How do I get my wristbands for entry into the event and to bounce?
Please bring a printed copy of your confirmation email with you to the event, or make sure you can pull it up on your phone. There will be separate lines for advanced ticket holders to receive their wristbands.
I'm a PS 295 volunteer for the event. Do I still need to get a ticket?
Volunteers get two TAT tickets each the day of the event. Thanks for your help!
